- I used to be one of the types who totally ignored the economy and world events in general - BORING! Then for whatever reason in August of 2008, I started getting interested in what was going on out there. By October of 2008 I was basically panicking, and had begun prepping in earnest. I lost my job in February of 2009 which freed up lots of time for my new hobby! I have scoured the web, hours a day, sorting through virtual tons of information, good bad and ugly. This blog is the culmination of what I have learned. I feel compelled to share it.
